the stakes of this election

The June 2 election is the primary election for California.

Among other races, California voters will vote for who they want for governor. The top two choices for governor will then go on to be the two candidates for governor on the general election ballot, and California voters will choose between those two candidates in November. 

Xavier Becerra needs to be one of the top two candidates. He has the momentum in this race. That’s why we’re asking every single voter to vote for him, and it’s why we’re asking YOU to talk to every single person you know and make sure they vote – and vote for Xavier.
